Last week my colleagues and I attended USPAP policies/procedures class for appraisals done in the US. To put it mildly, it was intense!
The class was held on Wednesday and Thursday, with homework Wednesday night and a test at the end of the day on Thursday for a completion of work certificate. From learning sooo much in the class, there was hardly room in my brain for another coherent sentence for the rest of the week! :)
The PAAQT meeting was great. The business meeting was a positive experience for our organization moving forward. We had a great presentation on web tools and their affect on our business; making it work for us. Kathy Kansier's presentation was over-the-top again. The information she shared, the encouragement, and hands-on were a perfect learning platform.
And then there were my roommates! The week wouldn't have even been fun if it weren't for them. Appraisers from Shipshiwanna, IN; Crystal Lake, IL; and Racine, WI. The food was great and the company was better. We even went to a quilt shop called "The Quilted Kitty". It was great. I dare anyone to walk out of the store without spending $100.
Can't wait to see what PAAQT'll have next year on the West Coast! :)
